Norman made 3 knots into every main line. During the second flight the middle B- main line ripped right above the knot and was replaced by a kevlar race line. He had no fear of the other lines could rip as well and continued the testing. When Norman flew an extreme spiral (at least 20m/s drop), all main lines ripped right above the last knot! None has seen exavtly how this terrible accidendt happened, but Norman was seen free falling the last 100 -200m above the ground. He crashed into a steep slope below the forest. He was fliying with his Sup Air Acro Seat, in whichonly the back rescue parachute handle was fixed. He'd lost the second handle before and had already ordered one. Some people who saw the accident said that the rescue parachute handle was not in it's original position any more. None could tell if the handle was pulled during the flight or got released because of the crash. After the accident the mechanism was tested, and working! If the handle was already released during the spiral, or as the glider's lines ripped, Norman wouldn't had any chance to pull his rescue! The glider fell into the trees some 200m next to Norman and wass, instead of all main lines ripped off, alright!
The REGA (rescue guard) was at the scene ten minutes after the accident but they couldn't do anything but finding Norman dead!
